OUR BACKGROUND

First and foremost, I am a Christian. I believe Jesus Christ is Lord and my personal Savior, and I give all praise and glory to Him. Each day I am reminded how blessed I am — truly, my cup runneth over.

Second, I am a proud patriot of the United States of America. I believe the Constitution is the foundation of our freedoms and the rights we are privileged to enjoy. I am unapologetic in my belief in those rights, especially the Second Amendment and the responsibility that comes with exercising the right to bear arms.

I am a second-generation law enforcement officer, having served with the Charlotte Police Department and the North Carolina Department of Corrections. I am also a second-generation firearms instructor for pistols, rifles, and shotguns. In addition, I am a North Carolina Certified Concealed Carry Handgun Instructor and a Chief Range Safety Officer.

 

My primary goal as your instructor is simple: for you to learn — and to learn safely. Through proper education, safety, and training, you will build the confidence and ability to operate a firearm responsibly and efficiently.
